See my response to Jim Devine.  It is not a matter of laziness.  It is a matter 
of practicality.  As I said in response to Devine, redlining produced equal 
default rates.  The bankers knew what they were doing, just as insurance 
companies know what they are doing when they price policies based upon zip 
codes.  If we think it is unfair and ban it, so be it, but you can't attribute 
the conduct to laziness, irrationality, race hatred.  (Well you can, but you 
would be wrong.)
