President Assad of Syria in an interview yesterday said "that After the US
invaded Iraq, Colin Powell told him not to allow Iraqi scientist and
intellectuals to take refuge in Syria, and later we all know what happened,
they were subjected to a systemic assassination campaign."

And does this go to show that there is more to imperial aggression than just
bombing and killing en masse. It is a holistic approach targeting all aspects
of life including cultural to deepen combined and uneven development. yet as
the combined part grows by force majeure I wonder if international relations
will continue to be led by this barbaric aspect of capital, won't everyone here
and there be the road to ruination? Capital was consuming man and nature in the
days of Marx at a very slow rate, now it is devouring them.
