Here is Buffalo, a film "The Visitor" is showing -- "A college professor
travels to New York City to attend a conference and finds a young couple
living in his apartment".
Turns out that the professor is an economist and he goes to an economics
conference in NYC where he also owns an apartment. At the conference there
is even a mention of the John Bates Clark award. Anyway, the young couple
are immigrants without papers and their plight is dramatized very
effectively.
The movie is truly excellent and I recommend it. Paul
