Greetings. I know several pen-lers have an interest in the Kerala model.
Here's one panel from the 20th European Conference on Modern South Asian
Studies, to be held in July in Manchester.

On the matter of education, yesterday my Danish colleague received a
complementary business textbook authored by a UW Seattle faculty. After
scanning the TOC, my colleague quipped that American students don't seem to
know about how the world economy works as some of the topics discussed on
the international economy and international system in the book are taught at
the middle school level in Denmark. I had to agree on this since many
American undergrads I taught think that the US dollar is used everywhere and
are puzzled as to why 1 DKK is not equivalent to 1 USD:)

Cheers, Anthony
