Julio: > There's synchrony, but the rates are all over the place.
But Julio, is this not about probability distributions? If we are living in an "uncertain" world, and we do, should the rates not be all over the place? The issue is where the mean is and the variance and the skewness and the kurtosis and the higher "moments"! Unison does not mean identical, at least, in the sense the author of this article uses. The global economy appears to be slipping down although there are places in this geography which slip faster and others slower. But, they all are slipping down! Am I imagining things or did I lose it all together?
