Except for a family reunion in the first weekend of October, I have
committed the next eight weeks to help Cindy Sheehan unseat Nancy "I'm
Taking Impeachment Off the Table" Pelosi.
I attended my first volunteer meeting in San Francisco last night and
have started a blog at http://coolhanduke.blogspot.com/ to keep my
friends and associates informed on the progress of the campaign.
I believe that Cindy can win.
No candidate on my own ballot speaks for me. Cindy will.
I believe it's the most significant campaign in the country today,
certainly surpassing the corporate-orchestrated presidential race in
the ability to better things.
The alternative is to continue to live uneasily in a country that
tolerates torture and war.
