Doyle;
Ignoring the insult, there are two problems with the claim, one - timing, what is the limit we are talking about? A month? Why the rush?

Two - What is the plan we support? Not the plan they'll implement, what do we support? I assume the current plan will put austerity on the country. Why accept this? There is a political purpose to thinking about solutions. It builds a movement. Now whether or not someone tries to answer that question here, there will be efforts elsewhere to answer this question and Dean Baker's comments are a start.

I reject the premise our only hope is the bailout. Our position is to build a left movement. We have no real power and thus the luxury to advocate good sense. For example, what's the rush. What is a good plan are tenable and realistic political alternatives.
thanks,
Doyle Saylor
