DEAN OF ACADEMIC AFFAIRS The Dean is responsible for academic planning, curriculum development, program assessment, faculty appointments and evaluation. The Dean, in cooperation with the appropriate University Officers will oversee self-studies for accreditation and will play a crucial role in planning and implementing academic partnerships with other academic institutions in the region and North America. The successful candidate will have an earned Doctorate, a record of excellent teaching and scholarship as well as pertinent administrative experience, a collegial management style and an appreciation of the difficulties of working in the post-conflict environment of Afghanistan.
