CB: Paulson's recent switch to not buying "toxic" assets makes the whole deal
more like nationalizing the biggest financial institutions banks and insurance
companies. The system seems to be in objective crisis and even doing the
impossible - automatically socializing ! Redistributing the wealth has been
designated as "socialist" by McCain and Palin, and there's likely to be some
wealth redistribution by popular demand.
The US may just fall into O's lap as socialist by the time the whole crisis is
over, and he can just call it "basketball" as a code name.
