There is a bit of difference between having a seat on the board and owning or 
controlling a company. They should have had a seat long ago. Even my faculty 
union had a seat on the board of governors of our university as did another 
union and the student union as well. We didn't get the seats in exchange for 
concessions!
   Shemano called for worker ownership of GM, quite a different matter.
