Officially, Obama officially supports it. He may even do something to support it, which is what really counts. But I am sure that if he does so, he will pull back quickly (e.g., as Clinton did with gays in the military) -- because it doesn't fit the the generally establishmentarian tinge of his appointees and the nature of his main contributors.
