Well, we Americans should support our beleaguered ally no matter what it does.
Huh? Are you serious?? Israel is a terrorist state engaged in state
sponsored terrorism against the Palestinian people. It has seized
their land, herded them into concentration camps, undertaken a
systematic program of ethnocide and cultural destruction, and violated
every peace agreement as well as every UN sanction. It holds WMDs
(nuclear, chemical and biological) and would not hesitate to use them if
it felt under a genuine and serious threat. Why did the world condemn
South Africa for apartheid and no one has raised any objections to
Israeli apartheid. The chief reason the Arab world is angry at the US,
and rightly so, is because of its continued and unrelenting support of
Israel. (The lunacy in Iraq and Afghanistan did not help either).
Unless, the situation in Israel is resolved in a humane and humanitarian
manner and the Palestinian people are given a homeland, the Arab world
will continue to hate and engage in a covert war with the US.
