You do it all the time. The idea that Lenin's writing is "out of date dogma" is pretty much spent and disproven. Look at what's happening before your very eyes, and stop repeating formulas you came up with twenty years ago. ^^^^ Yes, it's an interesting book, ^^ CB: I didn't post that because it's an interesting book . What a nitwit comment. It is still the _main_ "Marxian", as the questioner asked, thesis on the state, besides Engels' _The Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State_ . In case you didn't know it in your Marxian thinking, the state has been around for eons, and its essential nature as the tool of the ruling class has not changed. So, the "Marxian" conception of the state has not changed, since 1917. There is no more "recent" Marxian idea of the state. ^^^^^ and like almost _everything_ Lenin wrote (including casual private letters) it is a model for political focus, for living the instruction of the civil-rights song, Keep your eye on the prize. But it is ridiculjous to cite it as a "recent marxist analysis of the state." ^^^^ CB: There haven't been anymore recent fundamental discussions of the "Marxian" conception of the state since _The State and Revolution_. ^^^^^ From that perspective it is little more than a preliminary to an introduction to a prologomena to a marxist provisional analysis of the state. ^^^ CB: That's complete nonsense. No your comment is ridiculous, and these types of comments by you are always ridiculous and not at all helpful to someone who seems to being trying to learn some basics about Marxism , as this questioner was. You act like an anti-Marxist most of the time with your confusing misleading , off the wall, ultra-left non-Marxist discussion. Get it together.
