Perhaps middle and big business, Main Street and Wall Street, all fear
letting workers get real help from the government, especially if it
works. The bigger a bailout, the more glaring it is when all of it goes
to capital and conversely the easier it is and the more sensible it
sounds to carve off a good portion for unemployment relief, home aid,
pension guarantees, health care for all, and so on.
