Perhaps middle and big business, Main Street and Wall Street, all fear letting workers get real help from the government, especially if it works. The bigger a bailout, the more glaring it is when all of it goes to capital and conversely the easier it is and the more sensible it sounds to carve off a good portion for unemployment relief, home aid, pension guarantees, health care for all, and so on.
