President-elect Barack Obama is paging Dr. Sanjay Gupta to serve as
surgeon general.
If Obama needed a high profile SG nominee, one of southeast Asian
ancestry who commands the respect of all TV-land for his life-saving
medical chops, you'd think he'd have looked no further than Kal Penn
(Dr. Lawrence Kuttner, on House MD). After all, Penn campaigned for Obama.
Gee, you don't think Gupta got the nod in a case of mistaken identity?
