I justr finished Galbraith's The Great Crash.  It's a remarkable book.
I don't think there has been a better writer in economics.  Short and very
accessible to the non-economist.  The parallels to the current situation
just scream out.  I felt like getting up in the subway and reading pages
from it out loud.
