You mean his takedown of CNBC and its opinionated host Rick Santelli.
The whole episode is indeed well worth watching. It shows the
continuing education of the comedian.

At one point he refers to the Dow as "a short twitch numerical
representation of a bunch of guesses about other peoples' assumptions
about the financial well-being of an arbitrary chosen group of 30, out
of tens of thousands of possible companies."

Which I think is an astonishingly informed remark.

Actually there is a quite entertaining backstory to the Rick Santelli
takedown. Stewart was responding to the now-infamous rant by Santelli
where he railed against "Obama's bailout of loser home-owners" - get
this - from the trading floor of the Chicago Merc Exchange. He called
for a new "Chicago tea party". His remark attained instant notoriety
and Playboy published an expose (sorry couldn't resist) of some
conservative groups that claimed that Santelli's rant was not actually
spontaneous. Santelli ended up doing a round of clarifications and
denials including cancellation of his Daily Show appearance which was
the immediate provocation for the Daily Show episode.

The whole story is quite entertaining:
