Hi Hans,
Shouldn't we be doing much more in the cap'n trade debate to remind
people that the main profiteers are indeed the big energy firms,
financiers and lawyers, and that this they really should be opposed to?
And on carbon taxation, shouldn't we be looking at progressive taxation
(a human right to a lifeline supply of energy is the way we phrase it
here in SA, e.g. 2 kWh/person of electricity per day free) and
simultaneous restructuring of the space economy, so that a gas tax, for
example, doesn't nail the working poor who have been made to live
progressively further away from jobs?
