You really can't judge Obama's proposals on the basis of the anger that they generate among industry or radio talk show personalities. They must be judged against the needs of the American people who are losing their jobs and their houses at an alarming rate. Furthermore, what good does a national health insurance program, albeit modeled on Massachusetts's, do if public health is being undermined by poverty. If your children are suffering from malnutrition, who cares if there is health insurance they need food.
