I don't have much to add to Leiter's comment below the posted poll results. I will say, leaving aside the obvious self-selecting bias against French philosophy, that I find it mind-boggling that anybody but maybe -- maybe -- Wittgenstein beats Hegel. I would disagree on LW, but it seems to this humble wannabe that his is the only other plausible case to be made. What a bizarre list. But I guess really that's what these things are for, right? Taking the temperature of a certain group of people. We learn more about them than we do about who we should be reading.
