I think that Charles was referring to a fight taking place in the dominant classes. The sector of the bourgeoisie that is fully behind Obama (Goldman-Sachs, etc.) is trying to use the power of the government to resolve a capitalist crisis that is of its own making, particularly the banking sector symbolized by Goldman. I am on neither side in this dispute. _______________________________________________ Comment Actually, what Charles has written is that Obama is the leader of the working class and anyone not in his camp is either an ultra leftists or enemy of the working class in America. On Marxists Thaxis "our brother" Charles has taken a position that the problem in Afghanistan is the Taliban treatment of women. Not the American invasion of Afghanistan. Further, anyone that does not praise Obama extension of unemployment benefits is sectarian. Anyone that points out Obama is CEO of the capitalist class is dogmatic and sectarian. Essentially he states that anyone that fights outside the legislative arena is missing the struggle of the working class. Anyone that speaks of classes or advances communist propaganda is sectarian, dogmatic and formalistic. Two weeks ago, maybe three he was arguing why we should support bailout of the banks and under pressure conceded that "nationalizing banks" might not be a good idea. His basic analysis of the election is "white people" did a good thing voting for Obama. Some of this madness spilled unto Marxism list for a moment. This economic analysis of capital is that the crisis is the result of a lack of demand from the working class or the restricted consumption of the masses. I think right now he is off the deep end. This time next year, he will have had time to come down off of the high, that should have ended after the last inaugural dance. The struggle within the ruling class is not the meaning of the class struggle and class battle. Scary. WL. **************Need a job? Find employment help in your area.
