I have no suggestions on this, but the creation of google books has
seriously interfered with google searches for texts that have long been
on line. Say Pride & Prejudice exists and has existed for years on 2
different web sites. Searches for the book or even for phrases in it
woul include these sites among the first four or rive. Now you have
google books P&P, you have other books quoting P&P that are also on
google books; you might never find the two sites you have been using for
years to access the texts of Austen books.
