Buried under deadlines, I have not been able to follow every twist and turn. In addition, I confess that I am not particularly interested in punditry -- even pen-l punditry. I appreciate new ideas, to me punditry seems a bit like pontification.
My own biases: I also appreciate Yoshie, even I do not share her fascination with Iran. Theological regimes, whether in the US or Iran, disgust me. I don't think that name-calling belongs here. Also, Lou's movie reviews seem to be the default for making invidious comparisons. I enjoy his reviews and besides they are not part of interminable threads. People know what they are right away and can delete them if they so choose. I'm going to look at Sabri's calculations as soon as I can. In contrast with some of the threads, he appears to have taken the trouble to put information together. I say this even without having looks at the material. Anyway, enough of the name-calling, please. -- Michael Perelman Economics Department California State University Chico, CA 95929 Tel. 530-898-5321 E-Mail michael at ecst.csuchico.edu michaelperelman.wordpress.com _______________________________________________ pen-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.csuchico.edu/mailman/listinfo/pen-l
