I guess it's a form of trained incapacity (or self-imposed impotence).


So I guess I should stop writing about the Yanomami as well. Frankly, there are people in a much better position than me to fight for single payer or against greenhouse gases. But I plan to continue to write about the things that energize me, not what energizes somebody else.
