My daughter is always pestering me about it.  The way it works, your
kid gets a packet telling him/her how great they are and they've been
selected for this exclusive, fun-filled, edifying trip.  Naturally
they think their ship has come in and it's the opportunity of a
lifetime.  Turns out it is very expensive.

The group seems legitimate.  It's non-profit but I would bet a lot the
principals are well-compensated.  I went to a presentation about it
that was pretty slick.  Google traffic about the experience is mixed.
My recollection is that for about a two-week gig you are out about $5K
(US).  They talk about scholarships but those are iffy and meanwhile
you're supposed to start making payments.  Plus there's a non-trivial
application fee, non-refundable.
