The reason I ask is because I remember the drunken talk (before the
melt-down) of a broker I know. He ranted at one point about "the
Jews." I'm thinking that that was referring to Madoff and his
colleagues.  I'd guess my friend felt left out of Madoff's 10% annual
returns. The fact that most of Madoff's victims are Jews has one
little up-side: if most of them had been goyim like myself, it would
have given a jump-start to even more anti-Jewish bigotry. (Of course,
his victims are paying the price of that up-side.)
