The texts will be highly structured and linguistically annotated in a customisation of the TEI P5 XML format. The texts are presented both as digital facsimiles and as full text or as XML source code. You can carry out queries using our linguistic search engine which is capable of taking into account, for instance, all inflected word forms of a query term. Further information on the selection of texts, the digitisation process or the software used is available in our online documentation (German only). The German Text Archive is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and hosted by the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. We look forward to getting some feedback from you.
