don't they have some sort of policy about trolling on this list? we can't read
everything.  discussing potrzebies (not the kind i hunt for food) is like
discussing the soviet union or iran---don't even go there.   according to
wikipedia, the claim is that potrzebie's are about 2 mm while blintz's are 36g,
so the desnity of halvah is around 3.1417.  I saw Uri Gordon last nite (author
of anarchy alive  (or dead(me))) and he confirmed that at Tel Aviv university,
in the atom smasher, the density of halvah was exactly pi (in the sky, with
luci murphy and the dc labor chorus, perhaps).    So its a dimensionless,
transcendent number (non-computable ? (smile)), and has no relevance to this
list.
However, because some do think both math and physics are social
constructions, and since porzebies do have a wikipedia page (again, not the
ones i freeze for stews) i could possibly now they do exist, and so possibly
they are a legitimate topic of discussion.  Maybe we could get some funding to
actually do the measurmenrs to see if they are right; conceivably a better
measure of the density of halvah might hold the key  to peace in the
mideast.   If you can take one sphere and turn it into 7 (tarski) then you may
be able to take 2 states and turn them into 14 (which might resolve some of the
disputes that came up last nite at Godon's talk on anarchists against the
wall----whether his own Oxford PhD temporary academic labor based prefered 2
state (temporary) solution was preferable to that of Georgetown tenured
radicals preferred 1 state solution (with gentrification of course).   If
following Chomsky one uses recursion, then you can soon
have infinities of states.    then maybe you can get none (the anarchist
solution) by shifting the origin to a more relativistically invariant reference
frame.  (i'm personally agnostic, and this depends a bit on what your view is
of the axiom of choice.  some do think its wrong, and some even think if you
get rid of it then General equlibrium theory will work a bit better than it
already does---person a has 2 oranges while 2 has 2 bananas, and they end up at
an optimum of 1 of each.   it worked out theoretically, until it turned out
person 2 only wanted half.  and then a revolution began.)
(aince this is on the yanonami, among my favorite tribes (if such a
reification is possible or pc) were the athabascans (yukon) who called
themselves the 'half a gas cans'.)

Never mind the potrzebie.
