"Moralistic" is pejorative, "moral" isn't. Objectivity is impossible
under those conditions. Obviously my own views are always moral and my
opponents' moralistic!

Anyway I think there is a double standard on PEN-L. A critique of the
lifestyle of private equity managers is "moral", but a critique of the
"working class" lifestyle will be *automatically* denounced as
"moralistic".
