CB:
(I'm not saying Jim says what I say following)

Funny how some people want to blame O for the bad acts of his
appointees but not give him credit for the good acts of his
appointees. The Secretary of State is the agent of the President, who
is the principle ( in the legal sense of agent/principle; the
postmodern concept of "agency" is the exact opposite of this legal
sense of "agency".)

Repeat: I'm _not_ saying you have said this , Jim

By the way, as far as I'm concerned, keeping McCain ( Mr. stay in Iraq
for 100 years) out of the US Presidency _is_ a good enough reason to
give Obama a peace prize, given the extraordinary impact the US has on
war and peace in the world today. Furthermore, the Nobel Committee
should be praised for trying to influcence Obama to do more for peace,
trying to proactively influence real policy, instead of just giving an
award that has no effect on future politics.

There was a poll with 58% of Americans saying that award was given to
O for "political reasons" . Duhh that's good. It was for good poliical
reasons. Kudos to the Nobel Committees for having good politics and
trying to use the award to actually make peace.
