Well, it's an attempt to quote Luke's gospel (the most social justice of the
four, by a longshot), 12:48:

"From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and from
one to whom much has been entrusted, even more will be demanded."

But he clearly couldn't keep track of everything going on there.
