The German
leftist party DIE LINKE has a fair number of seats in the Bundestag
(parliament) and is part of the parliamentary opposition, together with the
Greens and the SPD (social democrats), at the national level that is. At the
state/province level (Laender), DIE LINKE is part of the ruling coalition in
some provinces.
What are
their demands and views on unemployment, job creation, and work in general? The
following information was found on their web site.

The chapter
on work (Arbeit) is the first in the party program. It calls “for a
reorganization of social life chances and work” and demands the following
concerning wage labour:
