Regardless of whether U.S. Special Forces removed bullets from the
bodies of the Afghan women they had just killed - and if they did,
what their motivation was for doing so - putting out a story that the
women had been found "tied up" and "gagged," as NATO did in a Feb. 12
press release still posted on its web site, if that assertion was not
true, would be seen by any disinterested observer as justifying the
description "coverup."
