Marty knows far more than I do about Asia. The difference between Obama &
China seems strong. The Chinese press & most of the economists recognize
that the low wage system is destructive of the interests of the rich and
the powerful.

I guess an Obama analogy would be that his green economy rhetoric would be
more substantial IF the status quo would not only be environmentally
harmful, but would also threaten the powerful energy companies.

Besides, many of the low wage employers are foreign, making them an
inviting target, as Raghu suggested.

I would like to think that I am correct because it would be more helpful
for many Chinese workers, but, again, Marty knows more than I do.
