We should thank Hayward and BP for their bad PR. Good PR hides the truth.

It's almost like criticism of BP's PR distract attention from
criticism of BP's utter irresponsibility and criminality. (It's a bit
like some of the journalism about financial reform in the US, which
focuses on how behavioral economics and finance tells us that
financial markets don't work well due to human fallibility, seemingly
forgetting the way that the government/financier collusion produced
gigantic profit opportunities for those who prey on us fallible
humans.)
