BTW, there's a pattern I've seen in the media: in discussions of "extremism," people like Glenn Beck are lumped together with much more reasonable people like Keith Olbermann.[*] Somehow, the right-wing nuttiness of Beck or O'Reilly or Limbaugh is excused by Olbermann's liberal rants. [*] Beck isn't crazy, by the way. He's profiting mightily from his apparent nuttiness. -- Jim Devine "All science would be superfluous if the form of appearance of things directly coincided with their essence." -- KM _______________________________________________ pen-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.csuchico.edu/mailman/listinfo/pen-l
