FWIW, my son visited the for-profit Art Institute in Santa Monica, CA,
thinking of applying. He (and my wife) found it totally off-putting,
like a hard-sales pitch for a time-share condo. The Sales Effort!
Luckily, he got into Otis, a serious art school... (It's also near
where I work.)
