IMF urges cuts in minimum wage and dole payments

THE INTERNATIONAL Monetary Fund has recommended gradually reduced dole payments
and a drop in the minimum wage in a new position paper approved by its lead
negotiator in Ireland.
Seems a little conflicting. If you cut the minimum wage enough it will be
better to jump onto the dole. Of course the Irish poverty program is usually
"take your passport and emigrate." That policy was suspended during the Celtic
tiger interegnum but now looks back in force.
