sure, Wikipedia has problems, just like any central database of information. is there something specifically egregious about Wikipedia that makes it more harmful then helpful? while every piece of writing is biased, Wikipedia seems to me to have many advantages for weeding out opinion from fact such as forcing people to cite their entries with outside sources and letting basically anyone challenge the current entry on nearly any topic with opposing evidence and views (by the way, did you think of changing the entry yourself?) without reasoning on why this source of information is worse then many other sources, i am left wondering why you "hate" Wikipedia, presumably much more intensely then other sources.
