I don't know what Aronowitz and Giroux have to say, because I haven't read 
them, Could you sketch out what they can add.

At a guess, Foster left out going into the sociology of the education, because 
he was focusing on it's corporate take over. 

I learned a few things like how Gates was interested in developing the 
teacherless classroom. This is truly a sick joke. 

I learned about Eli Broad, which I had already half discovered was behind the 
Broad Residency requirement for LA's Superintendent job. What a hoax that is. I 
hope the LA teachers/parents get that job application thrown out.  

I read the essay. It was fine and summarized the corporate assault pretty well. 
From a writing point of view, I though it was ponderous, making the same point 
over and over, but that's a style point.
