Non-Nazi capitalist ruling cliques -- like those led by Margaret Thatcher or Ronald Reagan -- didn't have class politics? It would be useful to seriously compare the TP's economic policies and those of the Nazis. For example, the Nazis build a lot of autobahns and stadiums to create jobs while most of the TP is against such things, favoring _laissez faire_ policies instead (at least in their rhetoric). The Nazis engaged in some expansionary monetary policy, while most of the TP is against such things, fearing inflation. Some expert on this should correct my errors and complete this comparison. One problem is that the TP isn't really well organized as a party (unlike the NSDAP). Anyway, I'd guess that the whole point of connecting the TP with the Nazis is to insult them. What's the point? they insult themselves pretty well, just by opening their mouths. -- Jim Devine / "Segui il tuo corso, e lascia dir le genti."
