3 WEEKS STRONG!

The protesting that begun on Wall Street, NYC on September 17th has
taken the nation by storm. With what begun on 1 American street has
turned into a a protest in 1000 American cities!

What caused this?
The social and economic imbalance that has affected 99% of Americans.

What really caused this?
The reality of this continuing economic abyss is a problem on many levels:

First, being our forms of business and economy, which traces back to
our Capitalistic economy. Our capitalistic tendency of viciousness,
rise to win, and selfish sustainability has trickled down into the
crevices of our society, affecting all our lives. Capitalism began
when industrialism was given birth. When industrialism was given
birth, our massive forms of transportation such as cars, subways,
airplanes, ships and infrastructures of our cities were born. The gift
of industrialism allowed us to do all that we can today such as travel
and empower ourselves with production. But now that all our industrial
jobs are being outsourced, and our People are becoming progressively
educated, we don’t need to progress in a “industrial manner” anymore.
What we need to do is progress through another route, a more elevated
route. What is this route?

Second, is our political system. Our political system is directly
influenced by our business structures of capitalism, powerful
corporations and wealthy 1%. Let’s face it, when America declared
independence from Britain in 1776, we were still dependent on
commerce. Business is and has been our blood, and it is necessary for
commerce and trading for our every day lives, but has it gone too far?
Are we buying things we don’t need? Are we diluting our markets with
extraordinarily-dull and useless products? We as the People, our
culture, our community, our businesses and most importantly, our
federal government needs to reflect on what we as a country need and
don’t need. And this directly influences what we can and can not have.
Yes, there may be consequences in this coming change, but it will be
for long-term prosperity rather than short-term.

Third, is our cultural structures. Our artists, our entertainers, our
People, our media, our icons and our social structures. We need to
really take a look at what we as People need and don’t need. When
someone wants Jack in the Box, everyone wants Jack in the Box. It’s a
vicious vacuum of influence. It just takes more people to say, “we
don’t want Jack in the Box,” so we all don’t want Jack in the Box. It
is a matter of conscious decision, do you want to be “that guy” in our
society of social degradation and uselessness, or do you want to be a
champ?

Occupy Wall Street

What is the next step?
If you’ve been chiming in on the protests, you may have realized it is
quite unorganized, chaotic and a vomit of ideas. What’s interesting is
that, even though it is chaotic, it has been running strong for 3
weeks! That says something. It says that, it is a deeper problem than
just our “economy.” As the protests influence other cities to have
their own protests, it says that this isn’t just a problem of
corporate America on Wall Street (although this is a huge chunk of the
problem). This is a multi-faceted problem that is on the scale of the
American Revolution (the dawn of our country) and it involves a
conglomerate of issues that soon will be addressed. These issues
include these “characters”:

Capitalism
Government
Culture
The 99%
The 1%
Other countries
and most important of all, Ecology.

So what’s the next step? Were finding out right now. These folks
standing out on the street isn’t standing, sleeping and screaming
there for one reason, if anything they are standing there for ALL the
reasons. This is another “Mubarak overthrow in Egypt,” another
“American Revolution,” another “Civil War.” We the People are now
ready to push into a true transformative period. This crisis has built
up to a plateau, and it is now the time to seriously reflect on our
lives as a Individual, Neighborhood, Community, City, County,
Metropolitan, State, Nation and even as a Planet.
