On U.S. National Public Radio, it's Brooks and Dionne. I heard those folks talking about similar stuff on Friday. It seems to me that there's been a bit of a mood shift. It used to be Dionne (the "liberal") was the weaker of the two, less clear and assertive. But this time, it was Brooks who seemed more hesitant (and more obvious in changing the subject when uncomfortable). Maybe OWS has given some backbone to Dionne? and undermined Brooks' self-image as someone who hopes to promote the well-being of _all_ people? we shall see. -- Jim Devine / "In an ugly and unhappy world the richest man can purchase nothing but ugliness and unhappiness." -- George Bernard Shaw _______________________________________________ pen-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.csuchico.edu/mailman/listinfo/pen-l
