I would not be too quick to treat an FBI file as a reliable source. My 90 year old mother undoubtedly has a long file from having been involved in left wing activism from the age of 12. When I urged her to ask for a copy for the sake of history, she replied. My memory has been awful since I was 50. So if the file conflicted with my memories I could not be sure I was right. On the other hand the FBI not only lies a lot, mostly they have the ability to burn water making tea. So if the file conflicted with my memory, I could not be sure they were right either. So there is no point in asking for the file, because the source is too unreliable to be of any use, and my memory is not good enough to correct it into anything of use. -- Facebook: Gar Lipow Twitter: GarLipow Solving the Climate Crisis web page: SolvingTheClimateCrisis.com Grist Blog: http://grist.org/author/gar-lipow/ Online technical reference: http://www.nohairshirts.com _______________________________________________ pen-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.csuchico.edu/mailman/listinfo/pen-l
