The President of our school is a very decent man of leftish inclinations, I suspect. He came to the Occupy movement that intended to take over the Admin. building. He respectfully argued against it and then stayed for a very long Occupy session. He never protested. Never threatened.
Compare that with the experience at Davis. He is not a radical, but a worse flunky could have made our campus much worse in a number of ways. Decency is in short supply.
