This is interesting, I will have to devote some time to reading it. FWIW I just returned from David Colander's seminar here on the economics profession since 1945 to 2015 based on his long career on the subject. It was interesting no doubt but there was virtually no mention of heterodox economics possibly because it is so marginalized within the economics profession. Witness the last Univ of Notre Dame casualty and some of U Mass folks bolting toward the experimental side.
On another, note the French-Japan Foundation located at EHESS is sponsoring my paper on Indian capitalism as part of a wider discussion on Asian capitalism at the Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics to be held at MIT later this month. From both Colander's presentation and what I anticipate from the paper attached on EHESS, I think economics as a 'coherent' 'pseudo-scientic' core exists in spite of what others think and prove.
