Raghu,

        I agree with your comments in the last paragraph.  Comments I see 
reflect your point.  Many workers want additional hours, rather than fewer.  
The only succor they see is more hours producing more income.   All the 
information put out by economists tell the American public that they are 
getting "just desserts."  Pay is fair, all business can afford, etc.

        It is a long slog but let's take the first single step.
