Based on Ito-Takeshi's new interpretation(associated with Otani 
Teinosuke's translation of Marx's manuscriptsⅧ), this article attempts 
to introduce and explain the theory of reproduction and credit which 
K.Marx analysed in the 8th manuscript of Capital vol.2.

On the Contradiction of Capitalism: Goodwin vs. Marx by Cheol-Soo Park.
In a celebrated article, Goodwin claimed his growth-and-cycle model well 
embodies Marx’s idea of the ‘contradiction’ of capitalism. Curiously, 
his assertion has not been given proper scrutiny.

Andrew Kliman.
This paper finds that U.S multinational corporations’ after-tax rate of 
return on foreign direct investment fell significantly between 1983 and 
the start of the recent global financial crisis.

by Patrick Bond and Kim Min-Jung
The United Nations climate negotiations have failed to address what 
scientists agree is the world’s greatest-ever threat to the human 
species and much other life on Earth.

MARXISM 21 was founded as a semi-annual academic journal specialized in 
Marxist studies in 2004. MARXISM 21 has been selected as a Korean 
Research Foundation Listed-Candidate Journal and published on a 
quarterly basis since 2008. After 2009 MARXISM 21 starts to publish 
articles in English as well as in Korean, with its Editorial Board 
expanded to some world-renowned Marxist scholars.

MARXISM 21 publishes the academic works on following areas:

--② Marxist analysis of the contemporary capitalism and class
