Lion Philips, born on 29 October 1794 was the grandfather of Gerard Philips and Anton Philips who are famous for what became the Philips Corporation. Lion married Sophie Presburg, whose sister Henriette was the mother of Karl Marx. Sophie and Henriette's father Isaac Heijmans Presburg was a Nijmegen businessman. Presburg is another word for Bratislava.
He left Marx $$$ in his will.
