I am not an economist. But my suggestions are where I learned the most.
Find and download Doug Henwood, Wall Street. It needs an update but the basic
rot of Wall Street is still just as rotten.

Check David Harvey's video lectures on Capital. I got through about 15 hour
sessions and did the reading which got me to half way through Capital.

I listened to a couple of videos of Edward Wolff this afternoon. Hmm. He is not
exactly charsmatic and he doesn't want to make the breakaway moves. Breakaway
moves means admit the world economy is fucked and nothing will fix it short of
revolution..
